These don’t take well to a quick cook process, but patience is a virtue. The results are well worth the wait. As they cook low and slow, marrow will emerge, joining tender chunks of beef that have fallen off the bone to create a rich, saucy stew.

Cooking Instructions: Excellent for any low, slow, stewy process. Apply salt and sear on each side in a hot cast iron skillet. Then add them to a pot (crockpots and instapots count) and cook for a good long while with other ingredients of your choice. We like wine, vinegar, broth, garlic, onion, and fresh herbs.
