Applestone Experiment: Garbage Plate Sausages
From time to time we’re going to share with you some of the more exotic results of our R&D efforts. Today’s selection is called the Garbage Plate Sausage. (Hello, Rochester!) It’s basically a mixture of all our different sausage grinds — Hot and Sweet Italian, Parmesan and Parsley, Chorizo, Merguez, Breakfast, Gyro — that for whatever reason didn’t find their way into their rightful casings.
No two links are exactly alike, and every bite is different. It’s like a meat rainbow. Or a savory Everlasting Gobstopper. But whatever you compare it to, it’s deeply-flavored, assertive, and appropriate for hearty recipes or any situation in which mustard can be found.
We’ve only got about 20 packages of these things, so give them a try and let us know what you think and maybe we’ll make some more.
